Jessica Yaniv Simpson attempted to move his belongings into his mother Miriam Yaniv’s Senior-Only building (The Residences At Village Square) and RCMP were called and attended. A witness (and there were plenty) provided a few photographs and a witness account of the events on July 18. With less than a week to go until his foreclosure court date July 24th, Jon appears to have loaded up his leased SUV for a move across the street to Miriam’s strata. Of course, it did not go as the Yaniv’s planned. The mayhem ensued as the RCMP forced him to remove his stuff. Of note, the building is 55+ only and restricts the units to 1 pet only. Jon-Jess may look old as fuck but he just recently turned 38 years old. Miriam has a dog. Jon can’t pawn off Rexy the non-service dog on his mom. Miriam and her deaf sister live inside a 1 bedroom apartment that is only 590 Sq. Ft. in size.
Furthermore, on July 13th, 2025 MM were told RCMP visited Jessica’s condo building – The Hawthorne. There is no verification that this was in relation to Yaniv, but the timing of it all is interesting.
Facts: According to a real estate listing for a unit for sale in the building, The Residences is a 55+ Complex, with One dog or One cat allowed, and the dog must be no taller than 18 inches in height.
On July 11, 2025 a FACEBOOK video was posted by a user that had spotted Yaniv in the wild.
Incidentally that same day just a few blocks from this coffee shop, another MM reader reported seeing what he believed to be Miriam Yaniv standing in the rain, without a coat or umbrella, and speaking to RCMP.
Has Miriam lost her marbles? Is she wandering aimlessly? Is it all a long con to claim Jon-Jess has to move in and be her caretaker? Inquiring MM readers want to know.
